Learning Italian can feel like a pretty daunting task at times. That said, it always helps to know that throughout the years, millions of non-Italians have learned to speak the bella lingua. One of these non-native speakers is Sam Gaglio, a PhD student at the Department of French and Italian at the University of Texas. Even though he did not grow up speaking Italian, he fell in love with the language during his college years. Sam liked Italian so much that he decided to devote a great part of his life to advancing his knowledge of the language and culture.
Enjoy this fun video interview with Sam, as he tells us how he learned Italian and were the steps he took to be able to master it.
